Although new federal & provincial privacy laws came into effect January 1, 2004, Paragon Protection Ltd. has always been committed to protecting the privacy of its clients and employees and has long-standing security measures to preserve the confidentiality of sensitive financial, corporate and personal information. We are also committed to informing you of the purposes for which we collect, use and disclose personal information, and to seeking your consent in accordance with applicable laws.
We want to take this opportunity to let you know the procedures we've put in place. Our Personal Information Protection Policy sets out ten principles that are observed by Paragon Protection Ltd; and its subsidiaries, affiliates and related organizations with respect to the collection, use and disclosure of information about identifiable individuals other than Paragon Protection Ltd. employees (a separate policy applies to them.)

Paragon Protection Ltd. will limit the amount and type of personal information collected to that which is necessary for the purposes identified by Paragon Protection Ltd.
Limiting Use, Disclosure & Retention
Paragon Protection Ltd. will not use or disclose personal information for purposes other than those for which it was collected, except with the consent of the individual or as required or permitted by law.
Paragon Protection Ltd. will keep personal information as accurate, complete, and up-to-date as possible.
Paragon Protection Ltd. will protect personal information with security safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information.
Paragon Protection Ltd. will be open about its policies and procedures with respect to management of personal information. Paragon Protection Ltd. will make this information available in an easy-to-understand form.
Upon a member's request in writing, Paragon Protection Ltd. shall inform a client of the existence, use, and disclosure of his or her personal or corporate information and the client shall be given access to that information, except where the law requires or permits Paragon Protection Ltd. to deny access.
An individual will be able to direct a challenge concerning compliance with the above principles to the designated individual or individuals accountable for Paragon Protection Ltd. compliance.
Although the laws are relatively new, Paragon Protection Ltd has been following most of the stated requirements for many years. We will continue to take steps to preserve the privacy and security of our clients’ personal and corporate information.
