Ron ‘R.J.’ France

President


Ron began his career with Paragon in 1988 having completed his Humanities Degree at York University. He has worked in all facets of the contract security business prior to becoming the President of Paragon in 1994. Under his leadership the company has grown to over 2400 employees and Paragon has developed a managerial, process driven corporate culture.


By returning profits to the business, Ron has been able to develop the infrastructure of Paragon with the acquisition of an up to date state of the art computer network, modern and attractive business office environment, new vehicle fleet and competitive compensation for the company’s employees.


He has developed and implemented a 30-year plan for the ongoing development and operation of the company.

V.P. Operations


Kevin is our Vice President of Operations and has been with the company since 1987.


Prior to his employment with Paragon, Kevin was an instructor at Canadian Armed Forces Communications Regiment in firearms and physical education.


Kevin is currently responsible for the efficient operation of a staff of more than 40 Management and 1,750 Uniformed Security Personnel.

V.P. Corporate Services


Ted has 39 years combined law enforcement and private sector security experience. This career began by serving 18 years as a police officer with both the Toronto Police and Peel Regional Police. Ted joined Paragon Security in 1995 as Manager of Technical Support Services. Ted was promoted to Vice President, Corporate Services. In this role, Ted’s responsibilities include the Human Resources Department, Client Consulting and Support Services Department, Investigations Branch, Training Branch and Uniform Stores. Ted continues to participate in business development and strategic planning for the company.

Don Leschuk

V.P.


Don is Vice-President, East Operations and Projects. He joined Paragon in 2009. Don comes with 15 years contract security experience in various capacities and geographic scope. He also worked 5 years in federal corrections, largely in the Prison Industries Program (CORCAN). Don has a burning passion for our industry and loves to work in operational environments. He has led business development initiatives by providing old-fashioned service and responsiveness to both clients and employees. Don is known for visiting sites after hours and engaging in conversation with the people ‘who pay his way’. Don also serves as the Vice-Chair for the Ontario IAHSS chapter and is also a member of ASIS Toronto 193.

Bud Ralph, C.A.

V.P. Finance


Bud joined Paragon in 2002 as Vice President of Finance. His management responsibilities include Payroll, Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Information Technology, Financial Reporting and Business Planning.


He has over 15 years experience in the security industry having worked as the Vice President, Finance for both Barnes/Metropol Security and Wackenhut of Canada Limited, two of the largest international security organizations.


Since joining Paragon, Bud has implemented a fully integrated payroll, billing and scheduling system to increase the accuracy of both functions and has upgraded the Corporate Accounting system to allow for any level of future growth.
